A day in Phetchaburi with Khao Luang cave temple, a hilltop palace and historic monasteries, combining architecture, murals and town views.
A trip north of Hua Hin to Phetchaburi. The programme includes Tham Khao Luang cave temple, where Buddha statues stand among stalactites and tree roots, a funicular ride up to King Rama IV’s summer palace on a hilltop with views over the town, Ayutthaya-period monasteries with murals about 300 years old, and a 13th-century Khmer temple in the Bayon style.
The trip takes 7–8 hours, with hotel pickup.
The route suits an interest in history and temple architecture, with time to look at interiors, murals and building details. Expect steps at the cave and palace. The funicular shortens the approach but does not remove all walking.
Wear clothing covering shoulders and knees. Confirm the monasteries visited, guide language and whether the palace ticket, funicular and cave fees are included. Meal arrangements are separate; a lunch stop does not itself mean a meal is paid for.
Your hotel pickup time will be in the offer.
The manager sends the cancellation and refund terms with the price, before you pay.
For the request, you only pick answers; there is nothing to write. The team sees your name and contact in the messenger you continue in. The manager asks for documents later if they are needed.
