This trip focuses on Kaeng Krachan’s forest. Around Ban Krang ranger camp, a guide leads walks and helps spot birds, insects and other wildlife. The programme continues to a bird hide, the reservoir and a life-jacket float on the Phetchaburi River. Allow roughly ten hours from Hua Hin.
This is wildlife observation, so species, proximity and numbers cannot be guaranteed. Closed shoes, walking clothes and binoculars are useful. Bring dry clothes for after the float.
Ban Krang has seasonal access restrictions. Confirm access to the relevant zone and the route before choosing a date. Confirm park fees, lunch, the river activity, group size and guide language. Any replacement for a closed forest route needs separate agreement.
